I love St. Louis City I really do, but the next time I go vote I would really like to have a normal experience. I've seen some crazy things over the years but today just really pissed me off. As I go in to check in at the dusty little table I see one poll worker hunched all over eating his deli meat that he brought from home and eating straight out of a Walgreen's plastic bag. There were 6 people at those tables and I was the only voter in the building, the least he could have done is take a break outside or in another room. I'm sorry but I really just needed to share this foolishness with somebody and everybody that would listen. Some damn lunch meat out a plastic bag? Really? You need to be fired and sent to etiquette school immediately for pissing me the hell off while I'm trying to be a good citizen and cast my vote.

FRIDAY FOOLISHNESS: Blagojevich
..::ROB BLAGOJEVICH::..
What do you think about the former governor of Illinois. He's been impeached and replaced and now I think I understand why East St. Louis Politics are such a mess. When the Governor is trying to sell a senate seat what do you think the local politicians are doing over on the East Side are trying to do?

St. Louis Inaugural Ball
While D.C. will be packed like the polling places were on Nov. 4 when we elected the 1st Black President, there is no need to travel when St. Louis will host it's own Inaugural Ball on Jan 20th to celebrate this historic election of Barack Obama.

No need to make a flight, just gas up the car and get ready to drive to City Hall for the biggest event of 2009. The St. Louis African-American Caucus Foundation and the Young Democrats of St. Louis have joined forces to bring you St. Louis' 2009 Inaugural Ball. The event will take place Jan. 20, 2009 at City Hall at 6:30pm. You all know how you like to dress up so get the ball gowns and tuxedos ready to for this Black Tie attire event put on by D.I.V.A. event planning. Tickets are only $50 and of course they have V.I.P. for $125. For more information make sure to visit their website. We will be there and ready to see who will have suite STyLe.
