I'm not sure who told these young girls it was ok but we are here to end the madness. BRA STRAPS should NOT show unless you are modeling for Victory Secret. Yes you may be excited about the new bra you got while at Vickie's Memorial Day Sale but I promise you we don't need to see it in the club, the mall, church, work anyplace that is public. If you know the chick in the pic above please tell her we said good try on the simple look with jeans, white tank, big bag and gold jewelry but she got a FAIL for not investing in the right bra.
The folks behind Fli Pelican will be in St. Louis on Saturday to officially introduce their clothing line to St. Louis at an exclusive all inclusive event at SNKY (you know the I Am...Sneaky store). I'm super excited about them coming to town because I've been checking out there blog for a while plus if you know me (Jami B.) nothing warms my little fashion spirit more than a casual tee, sweater or hoodie and they have all of those things and more on their official website. They also have a Fli Pelican blog that they use to showcase new fashions and keep their customers informed on everything they are doing. If you aren't at SNKY on Saturday then please just punch your self in the eye cause they will have the first look at their new AMBER (Kayne West kind of sorta girlfriend with the big booty) ROSE PELICAN shirts.

I know it may be cold today but you all tasted that weather last weekend. Even with the rain I must admit that it left me wanting more of that warm weather. Spring and Fall would have to be my favorite seasons. Not to hot, not to cold, and for some reason it just makes you feel girly and flirty. I put together a few outfit ideas for looking your best this spring.
I really am not sure what she was thinking with this one but this cut is just not working for her. I'm going to give her a pass on the dress because I'm a fan of the classic look but she went to far with the bowl cut bob bangs. While very trendy this just doesn't work for Nelly's longtime (we think they still together) girlfriend.
I may be a tad bit bias when it comes to Mary J. I am a huge fan of her music and style. Once again she didn't disappoint me. Here she is at the premier of Notorious, looking well relaxed and winter appropriate. This whole look gets my stamp of approval.

The world is sleeping on St. Louis and the ridiculous amount of talent that comes out of it. We may not be the fashion mecca of the U.S. but we still love to take items and put our own Midwest Swang on just about anything. Black Hollywood was in full force last night for the movie premiere of Beyonce's latest flick, Cadillac Records. One thing I love about us is that we know how to show up to any event. Lauren London hands down has the hottest style of the night. Her black dress is flirty and sassy. Her shoes gave her just the pop of color that is needed to sass anything black. Beyonce and Regina Hall also opted for black, and Ms. Sanaa Lathan (who can do no wrong in my eyes) decided to rock white. Normally I would be pissed about this white after Labor Day, but in Hollywood the temperature is still summer like so she gets a pass.
R & B Singer Monica was doing it last night at the Dirty Awards. The red hair is normally not my thing but when she rocks it like that, I had to give her a pass. That fur jacket was as hot as bag of Red of Riplets and they went lovely with that FAB purse and sleek boots.
Side Note: How in the hell does Monica keep that body looking so slim right after having a baby?
