Breaking News: Tiger Woods Hurt in Crash

Tiger Woods is recovering after crashing his vehicle into a fire hydrant outside of his Orlando, FL home according to CNN reports. While no major details have been released the report that the police released did NOT have indicate that Woods was intoxicated at the time of the accident. We do know that just before 3am this morning Woods was driving his Cadillac Escalade ...STOP...doesn't Woods endorse Buick? I hope that the old people over at Buick don't snatch away his endorsement deal over this one. Anyway he was driving his truck right towards the fire hydrant and then hit a tree which is where things came to a hault just steps from his front door. He did have some facial lacerations and from reports on CNN, Woods has been released from the hospital but his current location is unknown.

So you know Slim couldn't be normal and just open for the Holiday, he has to go all the way out and throw not 1, not 2 but 3 parties this week all in the name of KARMA. Thursday night Murphy Lee opens doors for FREE with his annual Thanksgiving Night Bash, Melyssa "I'm not a Video Model" brings her booty in the doors on Friday, and Aunt Viv (Vivica Fox) comes to town for Sutra Saturday. He was here a few months ago but now Suite Soul Spot celebrates their 2 year Anniversary with ERIC ROBERSON and he is bringing his entire band with him. I know folks think they have seen a show before but if you have never seen Erro hit the stage and do his thing then you have not truly lived. He will be at The Ambassador on Friday so there is plenty of space for you to enjoy the show and parking is all around so there is no excuse for you not to be in the house. People love to hate in STL, or least thats what people love to say, but the ladies of June 5th have showed us nothing but love since we started suiteSTL. Tiffany Fox will be celebrated her b-day on Black Friday at EXO so you know what color to wear and in true Black Friday deal tradition, admission will be only $5 so this seem to be the party of the week for us!

Ms Kriss helps Cafe Soul with Move...

Yes the ladies of Cafe Soul will still be at The Loft but they are moving to Friday nights starting this week. Recognized as the best open mic event in St. Louis by just about everybody that counts, this Friday would be on FIRE. She got St. Louis' attention when she won the McDonald's R&B Soul Search competition 2 years ago and after signing a deal Sony, Ms. Kriss is set to debut her new single "DAT FIRE" as the spotlight artist on Friday. Please make sure you know that Cafe Soul still rocks the crowd no matter what day of the week so please get there early and be prepared to the pay the $10 admission.

Nelly on CSI

TONIGHT set your DVR or do like myself and get home early so you can catch our STL's own Nelly body on CSI. I'm sorry that was so inappropriate, but dear jesus that man body has been speaking to me in my sleep some night. *stay focused* Nelly who is set to appear on 4 episiodes of CSI will make his first apperance tonight on the hit CBS. Looks like the folks at Clear Channel are moving to a new beat, this morning everyone on staff at 100.3 The Beat was let go including all on-air personalities as the parent company made a choice to change formats. Hmmmmm to what format you ask. Oh but of course Halloween Music? Uh yeah ok Clear Channel you may be fooling your listeners with this one but not us. Don't be fooled by the Halloween logo and next month when they start ROCKing Christmas music because it is all temporary folks until they go ROCK all the time which we are predicating will be January 1st. 

Alright STL its time for you to sound off...tell us how you really feel or do you even care.  Also we wish the best to the entire staff who was let go and if you have KIND words for them post them and show support STL. 

rush limbaugh Wants A Piece Of The Rams

People are shocked that rush limbaugh wants a piece of the Rams. I, for one, am not the least bit surprised at all. Being born and raised here I would have to say that St. Louis is one of the most racist cities. To me we operate on the "separate but equal" junk from the Jim Crow days. From our neighborhoods to our clubs. Sometimes we are able to mingle together but for the most part we are separate. I do believe that the Rams do need some money to help build the team. However, I do believe that going his route would be the biggest mistake and the final nail in the coffin of the St. Louis Rams. The Rams owners didn't listen to the city when we said to go after Mike Vick, but I hope they are paying attention when we say we don't want or need a blatant racist to become apart of the organization.

Between The Sheets: The Darkest Child

Hopefully you will have a box of kleenex available and your favorite brand of wine. This book is heart wrenching and very sad, however you will not be able to put it down. My heart went out to the children in the book. I was screaming at the words "hold on girl, your cries have not fallen deaf on God's ears" I knew they couldn't hear me but I just felt better saying it. I will not give one clue about this book because it is something that you just have to read for yourself. This book is The Color Purple meets Push (the book based on the movie Pleasure that Monique is starring in).

Maxwell gave STL a SHOW, heart and all

Singing mainly songs from her latest cd, Chrisette Michele looked and sounded stunning! She opened the concert Friday Night at the Scottstrade Center. Jammin' to a 5 piece band, Chrisette held her own.  Common brought a lil' taste of Chicago to St. Louis. The crowd bobbed their heads and waved their hands as he rapped, two-stepped, and break-danced across the stage. As Maxwell tweeted (during the show), "chrisette MICHELE is LOVE... COMMON is the LIGHT!" And Maxwell was the heart of the show! He was comedic and full of life w/ his dancing and crooning of songs old and new. The energy from all three acts was amazing. The vibe in the arena was that of gloryfing women &showing love for one another!

BREAKING NEWS: AJ killed in ATL

UPDATE: Voluntary Manslaughter Charges have been filed against Fredrick Richardson and he is currently in the hospital recovering from his own injuries from the incident that killed Jewell. 

Real Housewife Kandi of the popular Bravo series always talks about the support from her Fiance "AJ" and the storyline follows the 2 of them throughtout the show, now we are hearing that the man she planned to marry was killed in ATL today at the Body Tap a strip club. This story is still developing and I just heard from some a source in ATL that is close to the street that while not charged the police and everyone near may already know who did the killing. I will keep you posted as more details come.

Batter Up: Nelly & Murphy Lee step up the plate

Its always good to see our own on the scene making moves, but its even better when they are doing it to help others out. Last Night in Atlanta, Nelly and Murphy Lee joined Jermaine Durpri and other celebrities as they raised money for Atlanta Flood Victims during a Celebrity Bowling event. Also spotted was ROHA, Kandi, and Gibb, Big Boi, Trey Songz and more of the Oceans 7 friends 

I don't know about you but I always get a little excited when i see STL doing it big in other cites and showing support. Speaking of support make sure you check out Murphy Lee's newest Mixtape "I'M FREE" available for download at www.MURPHDERRTY.com. I'm sure if you asked Murph what was his favorite song he would say "all of them, I can't pick just one" but the hell with that I gotta say that #2 "STL NI@@A's" is my favorite and might just be my top STL song of all time now. Happy Anniversary Young Dip

The Loft will be packed tonight for Young Dip's 3rd Anniversary with HOT 104.1, it will also be the last night for Boogie D to host before he moves to Philly. That means that if you're not at The Loft tonight you will be missing one hell of a party. Come out and support because we will be there!

You know initially I wasn't going to post this. When I clicked open this picture it gave my weary soul a real heavy sigh. I said ok maybe this is a Halloween Party, then I looked at the sign at the top. Stuff like this confuses me I don't know whether to laugh or cry. I know sweet Ms. Jane Pittman feels like she is being dragged all over again in her grave. Is this what you want your legacy to be Brenda? Pac said it best "Brenda's got a baby, but Brenda's barely got a brain".

Cleveland Mayor has Pride

Cleveland Mayor, Eric Brewer may be all smiles in his clip on earrings in the picture but he isn't happy these pictures have been released just days before the election where he is seeking another term as Mayor. Now he hasn't said that these lovely pics with pink lips are him but he sure isn't denying any of them either. Brewer just keeps blaming his opponent for the pictures being released. I'm just thinking if Mayor Slay had some pics like this to come out and it wasn't him, don't you think Francis would make it clear that they weren't him. Oh well maybe Wendy Williams can get the exclusive interview and as HOW YOU DOIN?

God Aint Blind

If you read Mary Monroe's book God Don't Like Ugly ( the first of many in its series) then you already know that picking up this book is a plus. For some reason the books in this series just keep getting better and better. The main character Annette has had one hell of a life. From being molested for years as a child and later watching her best friend Rhoda kill the man who took her virginity to becoming a prostitute. She has been able to live a great adult life. Marrying childhood friend Pee Wee and having a daughter together it seems life couldn't get any better. That is until she looks up and realize it has been a year since Pee Wee has touched her. Feeling lonely and needing to get her groove back Annette turns to another man, Louis. As he begins to complete her she starts to realize that cheating isn't as easy as she thought, even though Rhoda (who's being sleeping with her husband's best friend for 20 plus years) tells her it is. You have to pick up the book and read because if I don't stop now I will tell you what happens.
