When I heard this the other day I was like dayum Mo back like that not that he was ever gone just alot people has slept on his lyrical abilities and talent..guess the non believers didnt hear him when he said "I AM #1". This is a club banger and I know the video is going to be bananas!
Seems like everything thats been coming out of the Derrty Ent camp this year has been fyre..now they need to drop the Lunatics, Murph and Citys album..and it will be a Derrty Invasion Fa Sho!
Damn you Dashea for saying what I wanted to say...lol. I really do think that City Spud has sparked some new energy into the Derrty Ent studios. I'm happy to see Nelly make new music but I'm ready for the Murphy Lee DVD/CD to hit shelves and I think everybody wants to see a City Spud album out.
I guess the Nelly/Derrty haters don't have internet at home so we have to wait until Monday to see what crazy negative mess they will throw on the blog

Looks like a STL/Derrty invasion is coming!
Its Horrible. Best part is Biggy. Beat is watered down and too electronic sounding. Nelly's singing rap style sounds played out. The "tell em Puff" part is corny and has no edge sounds like rap pop music or something. Nelly is relying too much on this manicured image and it shows on the mic. He needs better word play with more grit and street appeal. Bottom line pretty cats cant rhyme. Nelly is no longer really dirty.

@Anonymous 5:45PM - awww I love it when haters comment on the blog. I see you reading the site daily making numerous stops, so the first thing I need to do is say THANK YOU for the support. My parents told me I was somebody the day I was born, I know not everybody can be raised in such a loving household and we they aren't, they turn out like you, how sad. But lets hope one day things get better in your life so you can be happy and use all that negative energy you have and focus on yourself. As for my husband, thanks for keeping a watchful eye on him but he's a grown man and doesn't need a babysitter, but we appreciate the offer.

First off Nicole, this blog asked people what they thought about the song so I gave my opinion. I like Nelly and Derrty Ent but think Nelly’s MC skills have fallen off a bit which is opposite of most rappers in the game, they usually get better. Nelly has a ton of charisma which is a asset but the song sucks ass like a lot of stuff on the radio these days. Nelly would probably appreciate the honest feedback (prior to album release) be it anonymous or not. Puff is a great salesman and brand but is a joke as an artist and everybody knows it. Murphy Lee is a great under rated lyricist. Im not sure how he got in the discussion since he's not on the song??
Secondly, don’t assume all anonymous posts are the same people. Im not the person who called Jami B names. I don’t know her at all; I just follow the blog because it’s a good idea for this city and fills a gap in local entertainment. I couldn’t pick her out if we were the only two people in a small room.
Lastly, what exactly am I riding? Get my own blog? What are you talking about? After looking at the picture you should be riding an exercise bike more often and riding back to the store to return the bad fitting zebra tablecloth you wearing.
Also, what is the Inc? Are you down with Irv Gotti and signed to Murder Inc? Are you JaRule’s sister? You two could definitely could pass for identical twins.

Just like in life, mistakes have consequences, intended or not. There was no way of knowing that your Queen B lyric shot at me was a mistake, at the time it seemed well targeted and thought out. As far as the barb that I retorted at you, it’s my method of operation, shoot one shot at me; I shoot an arsenal at you. It's called a Blitzkrieg.

I can’t believe you put “woulda” and “smarter” in the same sentence but call me ignorant?? That’s an oxymoron if I’ve ever seen one and shows your lack of knowledge of sentence structure. I can’t comment on the increase or decrease of ignorance (overly misused word) in Saint Louis, the people I know and associate with are very knowledgeable. I would argue that contemporary local statistics show STL residents, of all backgrounds, are attaining more education and understanding than ever before. So obviously the people in your circle or that you encounter are “ignorant” which is more a reflection on you. Maybe you should change your life and perspective in hopes of changing your feelings about our great, up and coming city.
Also it's Pete's Sake, make sure you get your Biblical euphemisms right.

and as far as nelly record goes the record is a hot record for nelly.......will it bring him back uuummm....nelly changed a big part of music so 2 b gone for 4yrs and a record here and der or put out a new sound when he did come back(not new 2 all of us)or even try 2 do the group thing when people are barely gettn him wont work...THIS IS NOT A (hatn comment by no means this is my opinion as a nelly fan) he was a movement in music and hes going to have 2 do it again....i remember murphy lee himself sayn its easier to make in than music business than is to stay there....nelly is from st.louis all he has 2 do is remeber that in his music re-invent (YOU HAVE TO)the country grammer 09 4real re-invention+st.louis+nelly=a number 1 record and do it obama style and jus take the world over....and this song is a great start! thats my opinion on the song and nuthn else!!!! no derrty ent,st.lunatics,no ashanti,jamie or cyrss... no nuthn jus the biggie,puffy,and nelly song!
