A Little Bit Of Advice

dateWed, Jan 21, 2009 at 4:58 PM
subject all lost in love because of my stupidity
hi suite,
I'm nervous about writing this because the last girl who sent in that letter you guys tore her a new one. My situation is different from hers though and I really have no clue on what to do. This guy and I started out as high school sweethearts, we met in 10th grade. He was my first and only at the time. When we graduated from high school we went to college together and eventually moved off campus together. Around my 21st bday I started to feel smothered. He and I had been together since I was 16 and he was all I knew. I started wondering if maybe we had moved to fast and I didn't get a chance to experience things other girls my age were doing. I broke up with him and moved back home. He was devastated to say the least, he called and called until he got the picture that I didn't want to be with him anymore. I met this other guy and we hooked up and became a couple I really thought we were in love and he might have been the one, but he started cheating on me. My heart was broken and in a few months he had turned me into a clingy, jealous woman with low self esteem. I started missing my ex something fierce. I contacted his sister and got his new number, she also told me that he had moved on with another girl and they were living together now. After weeks of calling anonymous and hanging up I eventually called and spoke with him. We met up and one thing led to another and the next thing I knew we were crying and having sex. It was the most beautiful experience I have ever been in. I thought we would get back together but he refuses to leave the other girl. He said if I wanted him I would have to just take a piece of him because it was me that walked away. I love him and I know he loves me, but I don't want to be any one's side piece. Do you think if I play this game for a little while he will eventually forget about her and get back with me? Or should I just let a lying dog lay?

First let me start by saying that our disclaimer at the top states that we are not trying to hurt feelings or harm anyone. Now that we got that out of the way I want to say this, and I am not a licensed doctor so I could be wrong. It doesn't sound like that man wants to get back with you. You hurt him deeply it seems from what you are saying and he is trying to hurt you back the same way. I can understand that you felt like you wanted to see more of the world and if you are use to rose colored glasses the real world can break you. You thought that everything you were looking for was somewhere else. That's normal and is completely apart of growing up. It's called living and learning. Don't let that tear you away from the woman you are becoming. I am sure you will find the right man for you. And when you do you will know without a shadow of a doubt. Keep your head up sis, and leave that dog right where he is.

BREAKING NEWS: Wonder Woman is Black

WTF: Inaugural Night Moments

suiteSTL was as excited as the rest of the world as Barack Obama was sworn in as the 1st Black and 44th President to United States. And you know with something this big there were parties going on all around town. Our first stop was City Hall for the Inaugural Ball. That event was well, uhm, yeah...I'm trying to think of something nice to say...but...yeah it won't come out. Of course the camera was there and I do have pics so considering that the event was a Formal Black-tie Ball, and the dinner V.I.P. tickets were $125 per person - I will let you all decide from the pics - ENJOY

This is the centerpiece that sat at the tables - look real hard and tell me can you spot what's really wrong with this pic.

Wristbands, Really? Yes it was V.I.P., but it was a BALL not a All-Star weekend after party. Wristbands should be reserved for clubs and carnivals NOT a formal event.

So you are just going to lean over me and pick up my food with the bright blue surgical gloves and act like it's o.k.? I didn't know if he was there to take my plate or slap a perm in my head.

If you are looking at this and trying to figure out what the hell it is, don't fell bad. I didn't know what it was either until I asked someone where the salad dressing was. That's when I realized that this plate (yes the dressing was on a desert plate) that resembled a plate of Gerber food was actually my dressing.

My night was not a total loss. I did head over to LUSH and the LOFT where I had a blast and enjoyed the crowd celebrating the fact that Bush is gone and oh yeah we have a BLACK PRESIDENT. Before people start getting there panties in a bunch about why we posted these pics, it's because WE CAN and they were funny, so don't go crying about it just laugh it up.

Go Rams...?

Rams fans will have to watch our former St. Louis quarterback Kurt Warner make a return to the Superbowl this year but this time it will be with the Arizona Cardinals. While Warner fans cheer him on and talk about how the Rams would have been better if we would have just kept him on the squad, I'm not sure that was the problem this year. The Rams have been plagued with problems for the last 3 years and one of those is not having a coach that could lead the team to a winning season. After seeing 3 coaches in 3 years the Rams have now signed a 4 year deal with former NY Giants defensive coordinator Steve Spagnuolo. He also served 8 years with the Eagles family and even played a little football in college as wide receiver for Springfield College. He has signed a 11.5 million dollar contract with the St. Louis Rams. Lets hope next season he makes us proud and we don't have to be embarrassed about rocking a Rams jersey anymore.

Now that they have hired a Head Coach, which players do you think will be first to go under this new leadership? Is it time for Torry Holt and Steven Jackson to go or has Orlando Pace seen his last days in St. Louis?
