Yesterday after hearing Nelly on HOT 104.1 with Boogie D on what I thought was his first real interview on St. Louis radio in years, I became a fan all over again. Yesterday was the first time in a long time I felt like Nelly had a realistic connection with St. Louis. He was candid about his music, and how he called it a career and let folks know that although his recent album didn't sale like some of his earlier hits, "this is a career for me and you have ups and downs" and that he was still meeting his goals. I guess since Boogie isn't a St. Louis native he didn't tip toe around Nelly and really asked him the questions that I think people wanted to know and Nelly seemed happy to answer them all. He event talked about how he could have never expected on how he would respond to the death of his sister. If you recall his sister Jackie passed away in 2005 from a long battle with leukemia. And Jackie is a big part of why this game is so important. The 4sho4kids foundations continues to sponsor bone marrow drives across the country in the hopes that no one will ever lose a sister the way he did. It seems like the folks over at Liquid Assets don't have any plans on slowing up this summer. When I say blazing hot for the grown and sexy you better believe it. Tonight at Lure nightclub is the Greedy Genius Edition Celebrity Launch Party. The doors open at 10 and the ladies wearing red can expect to drink free until 11. DJ Que will be rocking the crowd. And as I mentioned earlier this is grown and sexy so men please leave the white tees and caps at home.

We all know how crazy the line was for Gucci Mane when he came to Society last week and ya'll know YO GOTTI gets major love from St. Louis so I expect Gotti's 5 star Birthday Party Thursday night to have the line all the way out on Market. Since they doing a VIDEO MODEL SEARCH I'm going to go dressed in best full spandex bodysuit so maybe I can get noticed. OK maybe not on the bodysuit but we will be in the house cause it's time I see Yo Gotti on stage in STL.

Between The Sheets

Ok I will admit when I saw this book on my friend's table I kind of laughed. I asked her where she got it from and she stated she wasn't sure but she had never read it. Well I will read anything especially if it has my favorite past time subject. Not sex lil nasty people MEN, well ok maybe it is sex. lol. Anyway I was surprised at how funny and real this book was. I told a few friends about the book and they all passed stating that the man is gay so what does he know. Well he knows that he is a man and it still feels good no matter who your partner is. There are several chapters that I would recommend in here. But my favorite would have to fall under You Know How to Whistle, Don't You? Just Put Your Lips Together and... Just trust me this time, and read this book, if you don't like it then I will arrange for Jami B to give you guys a special treat. (this has not been discussed with her so if you mention this and she looks at you sideways don't wonder why)

So this chick we know Tiffany was given the duty of getting her little brother a cake for his 15th Birthday. Now as the story goes, she comes back with a tenth of normal size sheet cake. When her step mom sees the cake she then tells Tiffany that she wanted something to be written on the cake. Now this is were the foolishness comes in. Tiffany who holds a college degree and is a respected educator produced what you see above.

SUPER "duper crazy" JAM

Monday, Boogie D announced that Trey Songz, OJ The Jucieman, Hurricane Chris, Jeremiah, and Day 26 will be joining the headliner YOUNG JEEZY, Keri Hilson, Soulja Boy, Pleasure P, Lil Boosie, and Plies to the SUPER JAM which is set to the hottest concerts this summer on June 13th. And if you though STL wouldn't be properly represented you must not know how HOT 104.1 does it because East St. Louis newest stars and Def Jam artist, UnLadyLike and DTP Madness winner JOKA will also be on the big on stage at Verizon Wireless Amphitheater. There will also be a STL mixtape set with Gena, Kenny Knox, Young Ro, and Ludy

I’m really hoping that there will be some surprises at SUPER JAM as well. It’s time these artist start bringing some special guest on stage with them like the do in other cites, but with a total of 17 artist and tickets start at $29.00 I guess we can’t really complain!
