M-I-Z......Z-O-U

Coach Anderson and those Mizzou Tigers are making some things happen and heads turn as they advance to the second round after beating Cornell 78-59. Sunday they will be play Marquette. I'm not really surprised at this one since I had faith in Coach Anderson. The real test will be if they beat Marquette and then face off against Memphis. Lets hope Maryland can upset the entire country and beat Memphis so they can face the Tigers and Mizzou can make it to the Fianl Four.

GO TIGERS!!!

CHINGY Check-In

We told you all that Lush was doing it big the entire month of March with celebrities every weekend and tonight will be no different. St. Louis native Chingy will be celebrating his birthday at Lush, where ladies get in free before 11, wait a minute that flyer says EVERYBODY FREE ALL NIGHT LONG! Did the folks at LUSH get some of that government bailout money or what? I didn't even know you could afford to do anything for FREE with this crazy economy. I guess this is all part of the Slimulus Package.

Chingy plans to party all weekend cause we hear he is also having a party at HOME (inside AmeriStar) Nightclub on Saturday night as well. They didn't get their bailout check just yet so you will be paying after you cross that bridge into St. Charles. Fellas are $20 and ladies are just $10. I might just roll up in HOME too....ok probably not cause I don't like overrated clubs who don't know how to treat everybody the same. If you do go, please report back and let us know if you had a good time or not.

WTH Thursday? When Botox Happen To Good People

So I was breezing through the net today and stumbled across this bad boy right here. If you are a reality t.v. junky like myself, then you kow the guy on your left is Dwight, from Real Housewives of Atlanta. The other guy, I have no clue. Maybe it's his brother because they kind of look alike. Could be his good "friend". Either way they both look like Ronald Jones, Austin Layne, and Wade was experimenting on some test dummies. I can't be concerned with these looks. You know the drill, what sayeth the good folks of the Lou.

APPLE BOTTOMS IN DUBAI??

Nelly and cousin Yomi Martin (purple hat)
Nelly was in Dubai last week opening an Apple Bottom store at the Dubai Mall. I have to admit I laughed when I first saw this post. In Dubai? Seriously? I guess so, I mean who am I to hate a man for making some money. But Dubai? I can just see all the little kids ditching their traditional garments for the latest Apple Bottom hoochie wear. I meant fashion forward clothing.

St. Lunatics are back?

So when I heard this song for the first time last week and I was feeling it cause it has that St. Louis beat and style that I love so much. Now while I love the song overall there is one verse on this song that I could really do without, but whatever. I am happy that City Spud (who was released from jail after 7+ years) got right back in the swing of things and is making good music again. You can expect a full album from the St. Lunatics titled "City Free" in stores soon. I would give you all a better timeline but after waiting for Murphy Lee's album to drop for months now I don't want to even go there.
Alright suiteSTL readers, what do you think about the song?

PHOTO OF THE WEEK

Bow Wow was recently in town to celebrate his 22nd Birthday at LUSH. We caught up with him and Wellz Fargo Slim of Loose Cannon hanging in the VIP Section during the Best Damn Friday's Period hosted by Mocha Latte and Boogie D.
