So you know Slim couldn't be normal and just open for the Holiday, he has to go all the way out and throw not 1, not 2 but 3 parties this week all in the name of KARMA. Thursday night Murphy Lee opens doors for FREE with his annual Thanksgiving Night Bash, Melyssa "I'm not a Video Model" brings her booty in the doors on Friday, and Aunt Viv (Vivica Fox) comes to town for Sutra Saturday. He was here a few months ago but now Suite Soul Spot celebrates their 2 year Anniversary with ERIC ROBERSON and he is bringing his entire band with him. I know folks think they have seen a show before but if you have never seen Erro hit the stage and do his thing then you have not truly lived. He will be at The Ambassador on Friday so there is plenty of space for you to enjoy the show and parking is all around so there is no excuse for you not to be in the house. People love to hate in STL, or least thats what people love to say, but the ladies of June 5th have showed us nothing but love since we started suiteSTL. Tiffany Fox will be celebrated her b-day on Black Friday at EXO so you know what color to wear and in true Black Friday deal tradition, admission will be only $5 so this seem to be the party of the week for us!

Ms Kriss helps Cafe Soul with Move...

Yes the ladies of Cafe Soul will still be at The Loft but they are moving to Friday nights starting this week. Recognized as the best open mic event in St. Louis by just about everybody that counts, this Friday would be on FIRE. She got St. Louis' attention when she won the McDonald's R&B Soul Search competition 2 years ago and after signing a deal Sony, Ms. Kriss is set to debut her new single "DAT FIRE" as the spotlight artist on Friday. Please make sure you know that Cafe Soul still rocks the crowd no matter what day of the week so please get there early and be prepared to the pay the $10 admission.

Happy Anniversary Young Dip

The Loft will be packed tonight for Young Dip's 3rd Anniversary with HOT 104.1, it will also be the last night for Boogie D to host before he moves to Philly. That means that if you're not at The Loft tonight you will be missing one hell of a party. Come out and support because we will be there!

On Saturday one promoter is calling Saturday "HIP HOPPERS HOLIDAY" When people say Hip Hop is Dead or Hip Hop has changed, do you agree? The Hip Hop that played through the hallways during our high school years (well not really on the loud speakers but through headphones) were PAC, TLC, Lauryn Hill, Dr. Dre, Outkast but some that came before us may have thought the tunes that kept us moving in the mid 90's wasn't REAL HIP HOP. Now Soulja Boy, Gucci Mane, Yo Gotti, and Lil Wayne fill up the iPods of almost everyone under 25.

The music has changed, but has it evolved or did all the talent go away with the 90's?

TOPHER a.k.a. "Birthday King"

I'm going to go ahead and crown Tohpher the Birthday weekend king. This weekend Jones who is one of the brains behind Derrty ENT, will celbrate his Birthday over a 2 day stretch. Now I can't front like Topher's Ego doesn't catch me off gurad each and everytime I hear him speak but while his Ego may be large so are his ideas about business and life so make sure you come out and help him celebrate his birthday. This is one weekend you don't want to miss out on. 

It goes down Saturday for the kickoff hosted by Murphy Lee and ladies are free before 11 so there is no excuse for you budget chicks not to be there. Everybody and they momma will be in the house and you already know Topher brings out the stars groupies Get. Ready. Set. Go!

Busch Stadium is going to see a whole lot of brown in a sea of Red on Sunday because for $40 you can get your Cardinal ticket which will also grant you admittance to the Day Party at Black Label following the game and one free drink. Charlie Chan will be doing what he does best so make sure you get out of church early and join the fun with the grown folks as we party mid afternoon on Sunday in our Cardinals gear. 

SIDE NOTE: Can somebody tell Topher that once this birthday party is over he needs to call up somebody's production team and start filming his reality show because either I've just caught him on a whole lot of funny days or this brotha is really a natural born fool...funny fool that is.

I wish my first day of school was something like this. But that's ok cause I'm going to rock me a new outfit just like I did my first day of high school and go party with the cool kids tonight at Brennan's Maryland House. Chokalate, Wildamn and Jada Avenue will all be on one stage this Wednesday at Black Label durin Suite Soul Spot. With a $10 cover you would have to be crazy to miss out on such a great event. CHINGY is back...

It's not a full album (well at least not yet) but Chingy has been busy in the studio working on his latest Mixtape. Chingy who is still with his own label Slot-A-Lot Records will be at the The City Ultra Lounge hosted by Kevin Hart for his 5-STAR Mix Tape Release Party. Gone Chingy we support you even if we love to give you a hard time. OK lets show support St. Louis because when we post something about Nelly ya'll forever reminding us about Chingy as if we don't show support so this is the time. Be at The City on next Tuesday for some special 5-Star Giveaways.

We know everybody and they momma like to go out and party on the 4th but if you smart you would go out tonight then spend the 4th resting up and eating BBQ at your cousins house like we plan to do. It will be a busy night so please pay attention

10:00  - First Friday's We don't wanna stay long cause you know the crowd can be a bit of a mess around the holidays but since we got a sneak peak of the space we are eager to see how Harry and Fred lay the place out

10:30 - The Loft: Don't act like the you forgot that Boogie D will be on the mic from 11 - 1 so you already know we going up there to support. Oh and we hear he will have some shots of 1800 Tequila from 11-12pm for the ladies!

12midnight - Free Time We heart those guys so of course we will make sure to stop by Mike Shannons Outfield for their event they partnered with Koncepts for. When those two get together you are guaranteed to have a good time. I wonder is the flyer with the chick and that flag is legal...something about just doesn't seem right but oh well. It's free before 11 so you may wanna get there early cause when I show up at midnight I plan to bargain with security and see if I can pay next week when I show up for Groove Theory...hey 4 spots in one night I gotta keep some money in my pocket.

12:45 - Sugar Delux Magazine is hosting the official Launch Party of STL's newest magazine. We can't say enough great things about this magazine. The only problem we had is that suiteSTL was nowhere to be found between the sheets but don't worry we heard the next issue will be suite for sure. Come out and support Keith and the rest of the guys that had a vision to think outside the normal pages of a magazine and deliver something new to STL with one magazine that attracts all and covers all. 

Gucci Mane & Melyssa Ford in STL

No Matter what side of the river you like to party on Wednesday you have something to do. Melyssa Ford will be hanging out at The Loft (is it still called the Jazz Loft...anyway) for the annual Black & White party. I know folks like to be different and try to rock some color but remember if you rocking black and white you get in FREE. I will be there in my all white trying to get all the wear I can out of it before Labor Day hits and the fashion police try to ticket me. If you can't make it to the Loft to see the now infamous video model you can also check her out at Shop N Save where I here she will be doing a promotion before the club. I wonder what it is she will be helping sell

This man made me smile when he showed up on twitter last week. Gucci Mane has a following that I swear is borderline cult like. He recently had some strange beef with Young Jeezy but please don't ask me to explain cause I don't know what it was nor do I really care. All I know is after doing his time Gucci Mane is out and hitting the pavement hard and will be at Blackmon's Plaza on Wednesday night presented by Big Future Entertainment, or shall we say early Thursday morning cause you know how they party on the east side. Hosted by Big "Mr. eyebrows look the best" Terrance and DJ Tab will be spinning.

Star Power Marketing is introducing STL to the new venture with Tony (T-Luv) Davis, Abe Givins, Jamaal Jackson and Jamal Clark with a Star filled weekend of events. Friday gets going with Jermaine Dupri (and yes he is really going to be there he even said so on the bible...well not the bible but twitter) at HOME Nightclub. Saturday they are moving the party Downtown at the SKYBOX for a Pre-Fathers Day Affair with Liquid Assests and Close To Famous. This weekend I'm sure Star Power will make it's mark on the City.

Power Stiletto is trying something with "Sundresses & Linens" on Saturday at VITOS in Midtown St. Louis. Sheraine and Darisha have been making others turn heads and take notice with there original events geared towards the Young Professional. This is one event I don't plan on missing so make sure you catch us at VITOS in a cute Sundress and fella's step your game up and get you some nice Linen and show the ladies what you working with

Notch turns 25

He's worked with Murphy Lee, Tiffany Evans Pimp C, Mims, Ebony Eyez, Bun-B, Spiffy and many other artist, but in STL his most popular work as one of the hottest producers was his work with Hakeem Tha Dream for the hit "Thick Wit It". He's well respected in the music business and does his part to make sure that his work is noticed. But today this multi-genre music producer is getting love from us because he has hit an important milestone in his life. RONNIE NOTCH IS 25. That's right he's a step closer to 30 and halfway to 50...lol. He may work hard all year long but today Notch is taking a break from his music grind to celebrate his 25th Birthday. Tonight he will be at the Skybox for a FREE so you already know you need to get there early. Sunday things get a little Bad as he teams up with the Mista DJ for the Gemini Edition, Bikini Birthday Bash at the Venue.
